THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
1. What is the definition of disability, “own” or “any” occupation?
Own occupation not any occupation, never buy a policy that says “any” occupation. Also if they say ADL’s, activities of daily living, run away, this is another way of not paying you.
2. Is the waver of premium as short as 90 days?
Both polices we offer, have a 90 day wavier of premium after you are disabled. Our competition may have not even started paying you disability income.
3. We offer payroll deduction for insurance policies, why does our competition not?
Group insurance needs to be payroll deduction - if not payroll, it is not a true group disability policy. Group policies are easier to get a claim paid in most cases. Ask my competition if their policy will cover maternity, even if you are not buying a policy for maternity coverage, this is a true test if the policy you are buying will pay all claims; we have always said, "if a policy will cover maternity, they will cover almost cover anything". This is the kind of policy you need to buy, you know that you are buying a "True Group Policy".*
